I was born and raised a feisty soul. I married a calm and precious soul. He has made me a kinder, feisty soul and he supports all my weird creative endeavors.
I worked as an elementary art and music teacher for a couple of years but couldn’t continue due to a worsening of my Lyme disease. My husband encouraged me to paint and make things. My mother in law came to town and helped me learn how to sew all the things.
A lot of people saw my art and the threads I was planning on making. The only reason this site happened at all was because people believed in my work and encouraged me. And now we’re off.
We express. We create. We enjoy. We work. We care. We want to do clothing much more ethically than the average bear. Sustainably sourced and ethically waged manufacturers. We want to create art with as much passion as possible. We want to work wood with a purpose and creativity.
We love things to be fair wage and ethical. We love to be creative. We love to be different. Passion and creativity intersect within each piece of the Feisty Soul Collective.
